Neal Brown's name has come up for a handful of jobs, including at Louisville and Kansas State.

Now another Power 5 Program has made an offer and some Troy University students aren't too thrilled with the idea of Brown leaving.

Kendrez White, a student at Troy University, says "College football is a business and they are going to have to take the best job at the end of the day. It's a Power 5 school and if you know the game of college coaches leave and come, players leave and come...that's just the way the dice rolls."

News broke Friday morning through Twitter that Brown is accepting a position as Head Coach at West Virginia University.

Reports say the Mountaineers' deal with Brown will be a six-year agreement.

Jordan Lewis, another student at Troy, says "Honestly, I'm a little scared as to where the program is going, but I have faith and I hope everything goes well, but I just know that Neal coached and did really well...and our football program thrived under him."

While it hasn't been confirmed by Brown himself…several Troy students took to Twitter to express their thoughts on Brown and his decision to leave.

Amber Thomas says "He's very outgoing, very happy, very...a go-getter, so you shouldn't believe in social media for sure. You should ask the source but if he accepted it I mean that's great."

Students say replacing Brown is going to be difficult to do.

Jordyn Saulsberry, says "Even when they won the bowl game in the previous years, they would come around with the trophies. He'd be in the cafeteria and stuff like that so hopefully they'll keep that tradition going at least."

"Before he was was a little shaky. I-I really...I have faith. I'm always going to be a Trojan and I'm always going to root for my team but I really don't know what we're going to do without Neal," replied Lewis.

Several names have already surfaced as potential replacements for Brown including current Troy Defensive Coordinator Vic Koenning, former Auburn Head Coach Gene Chizik and former Tennessee Head Coach Butch Jones.

Troy Athletics has not released an official statement regarding Coach Brown's decision.
