Wallace Community College Celebrates 50 years of nursing program

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Wallace Community College is celebrating 50 years of their associate degree nursing program.

Wallace Community College nursing students celebrate 50 years of the ADN program.

The celebration gave alumni and students the chance to connect with each other.

This was also a chance for former students to see the many changes of Wallace Community College including the state of the art Heersink Family Health and Science Building that opened in 2017.

"To go through and see the difference in the in just the structure, this building is just phenomenal and it's just a lot of memories that do come back." class of 1972 Delia Reynolds said.

Graduates as early as 1972, were in attendance.
