WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A structure fire in Walton County left one volunteer firefighter with minor injuries.

Walton County Fire Rescue and Liberty and Argyle Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a 911 call Sunday morning in reference to a structure fire. Officials say all three agencies worked together to extinguish the flames inside the one-story home.

Firefighters say fortunately no residents were injured in the fire, but one Liberty volunteer firefighter did have minor injuries after a ceiling collapsed on top of him. Officials say the firefighter was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Officials said the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
