Two Dothan teens charged with murder, assault in weekend shootings

Dothan, AL (WTVY)-- Two Dothan teens face murder and other charges in connection with Memorial Day weekend shootings that left one dead and another wounded.

Willie Blackman and Kaleb Tubbs are charged with murder in the death of 35-year old Shawn Bernard Callins.

They also face assault charges related to the shooting of a woman, 31-year old Kanesha Lee. She is in critical condition, per police.

Those shootings occurred Saturday in the 400 block of Florida Avenue.

Details and a possible motive have not been made public. However, Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish will release additional information Monday.

Blackman and Tubbs are held in the Houston County Jail. Booking photos are pending.
