Tuesday is IHOP Free Pancake Day to Benefit Children’s of Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (PR) – On Tuesday, March 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., IHOP® Restaurant will host its 14th annual IHOP Free Pancake Day – Flip It Forward for Kids event. IHOP restaurants across Alabama will serve guests a FREE short stack of its world-famous buttermilk pancakes while collecting donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The event, formerly known as IHOP National Pancake Day, was renamed in 2019 to stand out from other food holidays and have a clear tie-in to helping kids. When guests receive their free short stack, they will be asked to leave a donation of any amount either on check or in restaurant for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). One-hundred percent of the funds donated at participating Alabama IHOP locations will be donated to Children’s of Alabama, the state’s only freestanding pediatric medical facility.

Last year, almost $27,000 was raised for Children’s of Alabama. This funding helped Children’s to provide the best health care possible to ill and injured children from across the state and Southeast by funding research, patient care and advocacy.
