TROY, Ala. (WTVY) -- The National Weather Service in Birmingham conducted a survey of the tornadoes that touched down in Crenshaw and Pike counties.
The survey team analyzed the damage as well as how the buildings were constructed.
The team began their assessment at the Hunters Mountain neighborhood.
They also surveyed two separate tornadoes near Goshen in Pike County.
For the tornado in Troy -- damage there is consistent with an EF-1 tornado.
Kevin Laws, Chief Scientist at The NWS Birmingham said "Right in here behind me this is going to be about an EF-1, about 95 miles per hour. I don't see anything that justifies it raising it".
