The 10th annual “T-shirts for Turkeys” is in full swing.

The Joy FM will be collecting turkeys until December 15th and those who donate will receive a t-shirt.

They accept frozen turkeys, a $10 gift card or $10.

The turkeys and money will be donated to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank.

The Joy FM expects more than 2,000 turkeys over the 6 weeks of the fundraiser.

"Our mission is to help people find joy and I can't imagine a sadder scene than to see a family around the table at Thanksgiving eating whatever except for a turkey," The Joy FM General Manager Mark Giles said.

Bethel Baptist Church in Dothan will host “Ride for Turkeys” November 15th at 8 a.m.

Pedal Pushers in Ashford will have “T-shirts for Turkeys” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
