(WTVY) — Robert Dean Thomas is suspected in the March murder of Deyasmine Keyon Sheppard. Wednesday he was apprehended in Michigan.
Wednesday, agents with the U. S. Marshals Service located Thomas and apprehended him without incident near Bangor, Michigan. Thomas, 45, is wanted for the March 24 murder of Deyasmine Keyon Sheppard.
Deyasmine Keyon Sheppard went missing on March 24th, 2018. His body was later discovered outside Eufaula. His car was found in Russell County, Alabama. In March 24-year-old Jesse Maness was arrested for murder in connection with Sheppard's death. One month later Isabella Elizabeth Dooley was also arrested and charged in Sheppard's murder.
Thomas is being held, awaiting an extradition hearing to be returned to Alabama.
