ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) -- September is National Preparedness Month.

The Coffee County Community Emergency Response Team’s 8th annual preparedness day involved many local agencies, including Wiregrass 2-1-1, Alabama Department of Public Health and the Tallahassee Weather Forecast Office.

“Having everybody prepared for a disaster is vitally important because you made by yourself for the first three days that’s what we try to tell everybody because it usually takes that long for the government to get going to provide those services that you may need,” said Coffee County Emergency Management Agency Director James Brown.

CERT will have its last training course of the year next month for more information on their Facebook Page
