Shop Local! WTVY works to support Wiregrass businesses

By  |

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- It's local businesses that define our communities. During this unprecedented time in our history, local businesses need our support more than ever to survive. WTVY wants to help our local stores restaurants and service providers.

We saw a need for a way to help local businesses get the word out to customers that they're open. And we also knew we could provide a directory for our community to see which businesses are still operating during the COVID-19 crisis.

The website, wtvy.com/ShopLocal, lists local restaurants and businesses, along with their hours.

Here you can find hours of operation, ways to connect and purchase from the businesses you can count on right here in the Wiregrass. The businesses on this list represent the resiliency of our local entrepreneurs.

If you have a business that is open, there is an easy way to add yourself to the list. Just go to wtvy.com/ShopLocal, click on “Don’t see your business? Click here to register" and set up an account.

We know many businesses are closed due to stay at home orders, and others are only able to do business online, or through delivery or pick-up. However, we encourage ALL Wiregrass businesses to establish a listing here. In your listing, you can explain what’s happening with your business today, and you can update the listing at any time, as circumstances change.
