Shelter/Safe Havens:
COFFEE COUNTY:
Enterprise High School: Enterprise High School located at 1801 Boll Weevill Cir., Enterprise will open at 5:00 AM (10-OCT) until 5:00 AM Thursday (11-OCT). This shelter will accommodate 80 people. Please note this location is not pet friendly, however service dogs are permitted. Any personal items needed should be brought to the shelter. Cots will be provided but no food or comfort items will be available.

DALE COUNTY:
Daleville Cultural and Convention Center: For those needing shelter, the Daleville Cultural and Convention Center is opening at 5:00 p.m. on October 9th. Pets are welcome but must be leashed and/or kenneled. If you have any questions please call The Department of Public Safety at 334-598-4442.

Red Cross Shelter Opening Up: The Ozark Civic Center will open up as a Red Cross Shelter at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, 320 E College St, Ozark, AL

GENEVA COUNTY:
St. Elizabeth's Missionary Baptist Church 611 Florida Street Geneva
No food or bedding, bring your own supplies. Open now until the storm passes

Lowery Community Center Alabama Hwy 52 in the Lowery Community West of Samson
No food or supplies , please bring your own supplies. Opening at 12 today

HENRY COUNTY:
Abbeville United Methodist Church 334-585-3121 will open at 6:00 am Wednesday morning for those that need shelter.
Balkum Baptist Church 334-790-8324 will open at 6:00 am Wednesday morning for those that need shelter.

HOUSTON COUNTY:
Cornerstone Church: Beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday October 9th, Hurricane Michael evacuees needing shelter/safe haven can go to the Cornerstone Church located at 2685 John D. Odom Road in Dothan. The contact number is 334-983-1848. (update: 10/10 10:08 am talked with Dale and he stated they are the info hub for all the shelters in Houston, he assess the calls and sends the family to the appropriate shelter-Alisha C.)

The Harbor: Safe Haven for the Homeless and Unsheltered. The Harbor at 320 North Foster Street in Dothan isl open for those that are homeless or unsheltered only in the Dothan area. The Harbor will remain open until Hurricane Michael has leaves the area. If you would like to help, bottled water and nonperishable food items are needed and can be dropped off at The Harbor.
