Young athletes learn from NFL players at Ozark football camp

OZARK, Ala.-- Two NFL players returned to their roots in the Wiregrass to give back to their community with a kids football camp.

Ozark natives and Carroll High School graduates Larry Donnell and Steve McLendon ironically both have ties to the Big Apple

Donnell is a former tight end with the New York Giants and McLendon a nose tackle currently with the Jets, but today, no competition on the gridiron.

They took part in the second annual Larry Donnell Youth Football Skills Camp for kids ages 7-18.

"It's a lot of hard work with fun," said Donnell. "I think when you combine the hard work and the fun, it's a lot to accomplish a goal."
