[UPDATE: 4/9/2018 at 10:32 PM]

Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox believes the weather conditions were a factor in their deaths.

Maddox also says the boat could have been overloaded. It could only hold about 400 pounds of cargo.. so 3 men and their gear may have been more than it could bare.

The boat, which was discovered earlier today.. was examined this evening and authorities have returned it to the owner..

No damages were found.

[UPDATE: 4/9/2018]

Emergency crews have now recovered the bodies of all three missing Henry County fishermen.

The boat and the body of Keith Price was found just after lunch on Monday.

[UPDATE: 4/8/2018]

Henry Co. Coroner Derek Wright says a second fisherman was found Sunday evening.

He has been identified as John White, 54, of Headland.

Sheriff Maddox says they have enlisted the help of 5 dive teams to search the bottom of the lake to find the boat, which can't be tracked by a signal.

"We're thinking maybe the boat has gotten down into the channel of the river, and it's covered in sludge, and covered by the stuff at the bottom of the lake, is the reason we can't pick up a signal on it."

Of the three fishermen who went missing Thursday, one has still not been found.

[UPDATE: 4/6/2018]

WTVY learned around 4pm Friday, the body of Timothy Arnold Evans of Headland had been recovered according to Henry County Coroner Derek Wright.

The sheriff confirmed to WTVY that they have narrowed the search to one area --- they have two of the Dale County Sheriff's helicopters and several boats with sonar on the scene looking for the two that are still missing.

The three fishermen went out on Lake Eufaula Wednesday in a lime green boat.

The names of the remaining missing men haven't been released.

There's a fishing tournament this weekend, and one participant told WTVY they got a text last night to be on the lookout for anything.

"Being a fisherman, we hate that anyone who loves the sport gets out here and gets hurt. There has been so many accidents this year involving boats and fisherman. It is getting very rough out there and that's one of the main reasons I came in."

The sheriffs office has been searching since 8am Friday morning.

[UPDATE: 4/5/2018]

The search for a group of missing boaters will resume Friday morning in Henry County.

Multiple agencies will be back out on Thomas Mill Creek at 8 a.m.

Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox says the men went fishing Wednesday night, but did not return.

They were reported missing early Thursday evening.

Maddox says his deputies and the game warden started searching at around 6 p.m. They found their truck near Bakers Landing.

The search crew filled 5 boats and a helicopter from the Dale County Sheriff's Office searching for the men.

Maddox says they've talked with several other fishermen who were out on the lake at the same time, but they didn't see anything.

Maddox suspended the search at around 10 p.m. because it got too dark.
