Kindra Trawick's Sharing Closet and New Vision Marketplace are partnering to collect and distribute the uniforms.

Each weekend they will go to a different local housing apartment to assist low-income families. They are accepting new and used uniforms to be exchanged and ask they be clean and in good condition.

"So some maybe new, brand new because you have people that have donated money. You have some like my people here at New Visions market place, they have donated for the cause. So they have money that we'll give to make sure every kid will have uniforms for school," Volunteer Maria Jones said.

They will be collecting uniforms year round, in hopes that every child is prepared for the upcoming school year.
