Saying written info out loud is the best way to remember it

(NBC News Channel) - If you want to remember something important -- say it out loud!

Canadian researchers asked 95 people to retain written information in four different ways.

Their memory was best when they read aloud, rather than reading silently, or hearing a recording.

Experts say these findings suggest action and activity may help boost memory.
