Ross Clark Circle Resurfacing Project

DOTHAN, Ala.(WTVY) - You may begin to see delays and slower travel times over the next few months.

Several new projects will have construction crews on some of Dothan’s busiest streets.

The first part includes Highway 52 inside the Circle all the way to West Main Street.

The second part is Ross Clark Circle from Highway 52 west to Highway 231 South.

This area of the circle is most used during the National Peanut Festival, and with the added road construction will come even more traffic issues.

If you're attending you're advised to leave early to avoid those delays.

Alabama Department of Public Transformation Public Information Officer Brantley Kirk said, “Be mindful when traveling in the work zone there are workers out there for us to be mindful and watchful and also there could be delays so plan accordingly.”

This project will cost $2.4 million and be completed in Spring 2019.
