Daleville, AL (WTVY) Police say a Daleville man shot his brother to death Saturday night after the two men became embroiled in an argument.

Daleville Police Chief Willy Powell said the victim and suspected shooter lived in adjacent homes.

During the altercation at the home of the deceased, his brother ran next door, retrieve a gun, then returned and fired the deadly shots, Powell said.

He then ran to a nearby wooded area but surrendered, without incident, more than an hour later.

Investigators then questioned the suspect and charges are pending.
Special response personnel from the Dothan Police Department and Houston County Sheriff's Office assisted with the situation as did Enterprise and Dale County officers.

Name of those involved are withheld until notification of relatives.
