Police nab man suspected in $4 robbery and shooting

A Dothan man faces charges that he tried to kill a woman during a four dollar robbery last May.

38-year old Larry Ladon Reese had been on the run since the holdup of the Hop-In convenience store on Ross Clark Circle.

Reese is the second person arrested in the heist. Jeremy Mckenzie already faced robbery charges. A grand jury indicted both men. .

Investigators said Reese pulled a gun on a couple parked outside the Hop-In convenience store

on Ross Clark Circle while McKenzie waited in a getaway car.

When a robbery victim ran from the scene Reese, according to police, fired two shots at her but missed.
