Police looking for possible suspect after Ozark shooting

Area law enforcement officers are searching for a man that is a suspect in the shooting of another man Saturday in Ozark.
“They had apparently been involved in a verbal altercation that culminated in the shooting,” Ozark Police Chief Marlos Walker said.
The victim was sitting in a car and the shooter was on the street. Injuries are not believed life-threatening, Walker said.
The shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. in the area of Hull and Liberty Streets, a few blocks west of downtown.
Names of those involved were not immediately released.
