OZARK, Ala (WTVY) -- An Ozark commodity staple is making progress in finding a new home.
The plan is to move the Ozark-Dale County Public Library from its location of more than 50 years, to North Union Street in Downtown Ozark.
The staff has been working with the city since 2015 to get approval for the building.
But Library Director, Sandra Holmes says, they're gonna need help.
"We have to get people fired up for wanting a new library. We need contributions, and we need support from the city and the county."
Holmes says the new library will cost more than $3 million.
