OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) -- The Ozark Dale County Library is excited to announce we are officially reopening on Tuesday, May 26th at 10am. The Library will be operating under limited hours and services until further notice. The staff has been busy making all of the necessary preparations for our patrons’ safe return to the Library. We look forward to seeing you all next week!
The following changes are in effect at the Library for the safety of our patrons and staff until further notice.
► The Library is operating under a 25-person maximum capacity to include staff.
► The temporary hours are 10am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday.
► We encourage patrons to use the Hand Sanitation Station upon entry and departure of the Library.
► Returned materials are sanitized and quarantined for 5 days in the Board Room.
► All programs and meeting room reservations are cancelled until further notice.
► The 2020 Summer Reading Program will be virtual this year. Please stay tuned for future announcements regarding this year’s program.
► Children, ages 14 and younger, are not permissible in the Library. A photo ID may be requested to verify age.
► The following areas are closed to the public –
• The lounge areas located in the Reference, Magazine, and Nonfiction areas.
• The bathrooms located in the Nonfiction area and West Wing.
• The water fountain; however, bottled waters are available at no charge.
• Both meeting rooms in the West Wing.
► To enforce the social distancing guidelines, aisles are marked as one-way and computers have been moved apart.
► Curbside pickup continues to be available for all patrons – please call us at 334-774-5480 to reserve and schedule pickup of books. Patrons in the high-risk category for COVID-19 are encouraged to use Curbside pickup.
All staff members will have their temperatures checked upon arrival and will wear masks while working. We kindly request patrons who may be exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home.
