Ozark Airport gets new hanger that'll hold 10 planes
If you build it, they will come and that's exactly what Ozark city officials are banking on.
Friday they had a grand opening for a new hanger at Blackwell Field.
It’s something Mayor Bob Bunting has been working toward for a long time.
He says, "I'm so proud of it."
The city was approved for a grant last year, for the construction of the hanger which is basically a garage for people's planes and there is room for 2 more hangers, that Mayor Bunting is hoping they can bring to Blackwell Field.
Mayor Bunting says they have 13 people on a waiting list for more hangar space.
Stalls rent for $185 per month.
