One person has died in a Houston County wreck

Update--A two-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, has claimed the life of a Dothan man.

Andrew Antonio Ousley, 52, was killed when his 2014 Chevrolet Corvette struck a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette

. Ousley, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Houston County Road 4 near Oscar Helms Road. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor.

One person is dead as a result of a two car collision in rural Houston County Saturday night.

That accident happened on County Road 4, about a half mile east of Oscar Helms Road. That is in far southeastern part of the county.

Those at the scene tell WTVY that the victim was lying in the roadway when emergency personnel arrived.

Other injuries, if any, are not immediately known.

State troopers will release the victim's name after next of kin is notified.
