One killed, two wounded in Eufaula shooting

Eufaula (WTVY)-- One person is dead and two others are wounded following a shooting in Eufaula late Friday. There have been no arrests.

The shooting, that happened about 11:15, took the life of 28-year old Lorenzo Johnston, a Georgetown, GA resident. Eufaula Police Chief Steve Watkins said Johnson and the two people wounded were inside a home on South Dr. T.V. McCoo Boulevard.

The two men wounded ran from home. One was airlifted to a Dothan hospital with unknown injuries and the other, in stable condition, is receiving treatment at Medical Center Barbour.

Watkins said witness statements indicate the motive for the shootings was robbery.
