One dead in early morning fire in Slocomb

One person is dead after an early morning house fire in Slocomb.
First responders were dispatched to a report of a home on fire on North Morris Street.
Slocomb, Wickburg, Malvern and Fadette all worked to get the fire under control.
The cause remains under investigation.
