Old Dominion Freight Line expands Dothan region looks to add jobs.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Old Dominion Freight Line in Dothan has added more than 20 dock doors plus extra office space.

The trucking company started in 1934 and currently operates 236 service centers across the country.

With the growth, they hope to add 10 to 12 more jobs.

"It will offer better service to our customers,” Old Dominion Freight Line Southern Regional Vice President Craig Evans said. “The ability to process our freight quicker will improve our service locally."

Starting in February next year even younger drivers will be behind the wheel.

CDL licenses will be available to those 18 years and older.
