MEXICO BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -
Six months after Hurricane Michael, Mexico Beach is ready for business.
And that's being highlighted by a new website. NeverForgottenCoast.com is featuring local businesses that have reopened in the wake of the storm.
City leaders say it's an important way to boost the area's economy at a time when it needs it the most.
The website is part of the #NeverForgottenCoast campaign, founded days after the storm.
#NeverForgotten Coast has since teamed up with the Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association to provide microgrants to 20 small businesses hit hardest by the hurricane.
