New vehicle for the Wiregrass Humane society

DOTHAN, Al. (WTVY) -- The Wiregrass Humane Society is in desperate need of some new wheels. Their current truck, a Ford F-250 has been with the shelter since they opened. It's around 20 years old and has around 200,000 miles. The truck carries animals to veterinarian appointments but also to adoption events. Board of Directors member Tammy Curtis, says hauling animals back and forth throughout the city is taxing on a vehicle.
