National Peanut Festival announces concert lineup

(WTVY) — The National Peanut Festival has announced some of the acts headlining concerts during the week-long fair.

The National Peanut Festival will run from November 1st through 9th.

Friday, Nov. 1 will feature Az-Izz Band at the Food Court Stage.
Az IzZ Band from Atlanta, Georgia is a high-end Dance band that plays Cocktail Music, Motown, R&B, Soul, Funk, Rock, Oldies, Top 40/Pop, and Variety songs. Az IzZ has long been known as one of the best live dance bands in Georgia.

Saturday, Nov. 2 Creativity Band will play at the Food Court Stage.
This incredible ensemble is fronted by three male dancers and a female singer/ dancer. The band interacts and dances and increase their tempo as they segway from one hit to the next.

Sunday, Nov. 3 Russell Dickerson will headline at the AllMetal Amphitheater at 7:30pm.
The Nashville-based multi-platinum recording artist and 2019 ACM Award nominee for“Song of the Year,” Russell Dickerson, celebrated another no. 1 single with “Blue Tacoma” (featured in the hit “X-Men” franchise film “Logan”),shortly following his debut at no. 1 for “Yours” off his album by the same name.

Tuesday, Nov. 5 Jimmie Allen performs at the AllMetal Amphitheater at 7:30pm.
The epitome of the phrase “persistence pays off,” Jimmie Allen laid it all on the line to make his dreams a reality. Now signed to BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek Records, Allen’s debut single “Best Shot” is a certified hit, claiming the spot as the No. 1 Most Shazamed song in the format for eight consecutive weeks, and claiming the No. 1 spot on Country radio for three weeks, marking the first time a black artist has launched a career with a No. 1 hit with their debut single on Country radio.

Wednesday, Nov. 6 will feature The Manhattans at the AllMetal Amphitheater at 7:30pm.
Their work includes million-selling songs "Kiss and Say Goodbye" recorded in 1976 and 1980's "Shining Star". The Manhattans have recorded 45 chart hits on the Billboard R&B Chart, including twelve top 10 R&B hits in the United States charting on the Billboard chart for the first time in 1965.

Thursday, Nov. 7 Pastors John & Aventer Gray lead Relentless Faith & Family Night at the AllMetal Amphitheater at 7:30pm.
As an in-demand speaker, John has traveled the world sharing faith and the gospel in his own unique and uncompromising way. Over the past five years, John has been one of the associate teaching pastors at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Joel Osteen. Using his charismatic persona, he uses comedy as a gateway to bring people together. He and his family are currently in the third season of their show, “The Book of John Gray” which airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Friday, Nov. 8 Creativity Band will play again at the Food Court Stage.

Saturday, Nov. 9 Trotline Band will be performing on the Food Court Stage
Trotline has become the #1 choice in the south for country to variety parties. Started in the 90s playing clubs and fraternity parties, the Georgia Country band has become a household name. Trotline Band from Albany, Georgia is a high energy Country band that plays Party, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Motown/Oldies and Variety songs.
