DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) The National Peanut Festival Parade is filled with tractors, floats marching bands and pageant winners.

Jennemyers Ward has spent more than a decade attending the National Peanut Festival Parade.

“Ever since I was little I can’t really count because I’ve been to them multiple times,” said Ward.

Everyone has their favorite part of the parade; for some it's the floats, others the beauty queens.

For Ward, it's the music.

“The music that’s just it, like me I’ve grown up around music," Ward said.

She spent her high school years marching in the parade with what is now the Dothan Wolves Band.

Now she comes to see what other bands have learned.

“You got to come back and see all the different bands play different music and see how they have grown since last year," said Ward.

That growth is what continues to bring her back to each parade.

“It’s been pretty cool to come back and see all the bands play music,” Ward said.
