NIVOL Brewing Co. sends water to Harvey Victims

PANAMA CITY, FL -- (WTVY) Volunteers canned water for Hurricane Harvey victims today. Starting around 7:30 a.m. this morning, volunteers and employees canned thousands of cans of water at NIVOL Brewing Company in Panama City Beach.
The goal is to can 12,000.
Plans for them to can their own beer have been in the works for a few months.
When Harvey hit, the brewery and its canning partner, came together to can water.
"To take our first canning day and do this, it gives me just goosebumps just thinking about it, because we're not only canning for the first time, but we're also contributing to the neighbors of ours."
The 12,000 cans will be shipped around September 11th.
Nonperishable items and monetary donations can also be dropped off at NIVOL Brewing or Fishtale Taphouse and Grill.
