(NBC News Channel) -- Two NASA astronauts will be conducting a spacewalk Friday that will be shown on NASA TV.

Astronauts Nick Hague and Christina Koch will be working to install powerful lithium-ion batteries for one pair of the station's solar arrays.

The work was started in the first series of spacewalks by Hague and fellow astronaut Anne McClain on March 22nd.

NASA reportedly decided to pivot from an all-female spacewalk due to there no being enough appropriately-sized spacesuits available for both women.
