Most exciting sport on dirt coming to Circle City Saturday night

DOTHAN, AL (WTVY) The most exciting sport on dirt is coming to the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds this weekend.

"Bulls In The City" Rodeo will be held at the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds Saturday night. The event is presented by Big Dog Rodeo out of Two Egg, Florida.

The competition will feature more than twenty bull riders and thirty bucking bulls. There will also be barrel racing and plenty of activities for the kids.

“We’re going to have some of the best contestants in the Southeast here competing,” said Justen Matthews, Owner, Big Dog Rodeo. “We’re going to have barrel racing and bull riding and it’s just great family fun for all the family to get into.”

“Bulls in the City” will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening at the NPF Wells Fargo Arena. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Children age 5 and under get in free with a paying adult. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
