Lights, garland, trimmed trees, Downtown Dothan gets holiday makeover
Downtown Dothan has a few changes.
Foster Street is more festive for the holidays.
The city's landscaping division has trimmed trees, hung lights and garland to help get visitors in the holiday spirit.
It's to entice more people to come through downtown.
“It’s all part of trying to beautify downtown more than what it is now,” said General Services Director Randy Morris. “There are some other things that we’ll be doing in the future just to polish it up some.”
The lights will be up after the holiday season to bring a festive feel year round.
