Judges: Upskirting legal in Georgia

A warning for women in Georgia. If someone secretly takes pictures under your skirt it's legal.

That's because the state does not have an "upskirting" law.

Because of a technicality, the Georgia Court of Appeals says upskirting doesn't count as invasion of privacy.

The case the court heard was in Macon, but men have recently been arrested in Snellville and Brookhaven on the same charges. It's unclear how those cases will be affected.

In their opinion, the judges said it's up to state lawmakers to fix the wording of the law.
