UPDATE: Wanted man in Jackson County now in custody

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE 4AM 2/21/2020 -
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's office, after an extended search, Phillippe Grant Davison is now in custody. Davison was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. The 38-year-old faces multiple charges including Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition on a Child and Lewd or Lascivious Conduct on a Child.

Jackson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man wanted on
allegations of sexual misconduct with a nine-year-old child.

According to Jackson County Sheriff's officials, the Sheriff's Office received the report Saturday night of a man's alleged sexual misconduct with a child in the Cypress community.

Officials say the investigation led deputies to suspect Phillippe Davison. They say Davison fled the scene prior to deputies' arrival.

After an extensive search involving K-9 tracking teams from Apalachee Correctional Institute and Jackson Correctional Institute, Davison was not located.

Officials say Davison has arrest warrants out for him on the charges of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition on a Child and Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a Child.
