Dale County Rescue Mission needs help filling holiday meal bags

Ozark, AL (WTVY) - The Dale County Rescue Mission makes it a priority to help families in need.

During the Christmas season, they need all hands on deck.

For Thanksgiving, the mission gave away more than 300 meal bags.
Now, they are hoping to double that.

Each bag costs $11.
The biggest need right now is canned soup.

Donations will be collected until December 20.
You can drop off donation items at Mission Point Marketplaces in Ozark, Dothan, or Daleville.

Haley Enfinger, Executive Director of Dale County Rescue Mission says:
"So everything that we do here we do it unto the Lord Jesus Christ and so we really want to reach out and be the hands and feet of Jesus to the community as he has called us to be."

For those wanting to receive a bag of food, you must sign up at the Mission Center in Ozark prior to the event.
You have until December 13 to register.

Bags will be given away on December 20 at the Episcopal Church in Ozark.
