Lisa Theris allowed Deputy Chad Faulkner to share photos with us after she says she spent 28 days in the woods surviving by eating berries and mushrooms and drinking from creeks and puddles.
Deputy Faulkner says she was found naked by a driver who spotted her along Highway 82 between Union Springs and Eufaula in Bullock County Saturday afternoon. He says the photos were taken shortly after Theris was found. They show her covered in scratches and bug bites, and very thin.
Deputies say Theris was with two men about the time she disappeared in mid-July.
Randall Oswald and Manly Davis were questioned in the Theris' case.
Though they face burglary charges, the men haven't been legally implicated in the Theris case.
Faulkner says this story is grabbing attention across the country.
He interviewed with national media Tuesday.

There will be more information released soon on a woman found alive after missing for nearly a month.
Bullock County Sheriff's Sergeant Chad Faulkner took WTVY’s Madeleine Hackett to the wooded area where Lisa Theris was discovered.
A driver Saturday spotted Theris on the side of Highway 82 between Union Springs and Eufaula.
Deputies say she survived in the woods over three weeks- surviving on berries and mushrooms, and drinking from creeks and puddles.
Deputies say Theris was with Randall Wade Oswald and Manly Davis about the time she disappeared in mid-July
Both men have since been questioned in the Theris' case.
Though they face burglary charges the men have not been legally implicated in the Theris case.
Faulkner says it’s a miracle that Lisa Theris survived.
"I've been doing this now going on 15 years and I've never seen anything like it. Her will to live is incredible,” says Faulkner. “I hate to classify it as a mircale but it's a miracle."
As for new information ---- Faulkner will only say the whole story hasn't come out.
However -- he expects it to as the investigation continues.
