DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Houston County is done with their scheduled debris cleanup from Hurricane Michael.
Although the regular scheduled pickup is over you can still call to have the county come out.
Just keep in mind that some debris removal costs money, like tree limb removal.
Once an appointment is made a supervisor will come out and asses the debris and tell you approximately the cost for removal.
Barkley Kirkland, Houston County Engineer says "Any debris that is on the road now, or is put out on the road now will be handled business as usual, they just need to call our sanitation department and we'll do a work order and schedule picking it up and also let them know if there is any cost associated with it."
