HARTFORD, AL. (WTVY) - Hartford Elementary School held their annual Field Day Friday for preschoolers through fifth graders.

The different grades were divided up by classrooms for the competition where each winning class will receive a pizza party.
411 students participated in Friday's games ranging from parachutes, bean bag tosses, inflatables, and other relay races.

"You name it, we try to get it out there. We incorporated a new game this year. It's about 20 hula hoops, They basically jump into the hula hoops and play a rock, paper, scissors game. They love it. We try to keep them motivated and have fun," said PE Teacher Russell Bedingfield.

The staff worked hard all week long setting up these events in between the rain.
