Governor DeSantis appoints new Holmes County Supervisor of Elections

BONIFAY, Fla. (WJHG) -- According to Governor Ron DeSantis, Therisa Meadows has been appointed as the Holmes County Supervisor of Elections.

She's filling a vacancy created after Debbie Wilcox Morris recently resigned from the position.

Meadows is from Bonifay and earned her associate's degree from Chipola College.

She's been the Assistant Holmes County Supervisor of Elections since 2007. She served as the Deputy Holmes County Supervisor of Elections from 2000-2007 and as deputy clerk at the Holmes County Clerk of Court from 1996-1999.
