Governor DeSantis announces more Hurricane Michael recovery funding

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG) -- Hurricane Michael-impacted communities will see more relief coming their way soon.

Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis announced more than $735 million will be accessible for additional hurricane recovery needs.

The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity will develop a state action plan to strategize what the money will go toward.

The DEO is holding public workshops next week in several impacted communities.
