DOTHAN, AL. (WTVY) - They say if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.

Nick and Jenny Nicholson, bloggers for Eating Alabama, says "We were invited by Kelsey and the City of Dothan to be a part of this. It's been pretty exciting! We try to go around and cover as much as we can with our 'Eating Alabama' blog and to come out here to an event like this is pretty awesome."

Nick and jenny Nicholson run their blog from their home in Birmingham, Alabama.

"We've been, I guess foodies, for years and we've always done things on our personal accounts. Probably about a year or so ago, we thought we'd do a little something else...gain more people...and so we started 'Eating Alabama,'" said Nicholson.

The Nicholson's were able to be witness all the action at KBC’s Wrap-Up party Thursday night.

"It was very electric. You could feel the emotion with everybody and the support that Dothan gave was awesome," replied Nicholson.

Visit Dothan is making their trip worthwhile, giving them an all exclusive walking tour of the city.

Destiny Oliver, Visitor Experience Coordinator with Visit Dothan, says "We have a Top Chef in Dothan and they experienced that last night with us. We want to take advantage of them being here and so we brought them downtown this morning and we're going to experience the entire day downtown."

"Being from Birmingham, we have that in Birmingham but this really has that small-town feeling with some great history to it," said Nicholson.

The walking tour ended, where it should, at KBC.

"I got the Burnt Ends Melt and she had the Lobster Rolls. It was everything we thought it would be. It was perfect, it was great-great food," replied Nicholson.
