Florida's deadline to apply for a SBA disaster loan is today

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG) - The deadline to apply for a physical assistance disaster loan from the Small Business Administration is December 17.

Businesses of all sizes, non-profit organizations, homeowners, and renters are all eligible to apply for a loan from the SBA.

Applications can be submitted online or in person until Monday.

Liliana Tschanett, the Public Affairs Specialist for the Small Business Administration, said, "I would encourage everybody to start applying if you are a small business owner or a homeowner or a renter and you've incurred physical damage. I encourage you to start the application process."

You can apply for a loan in person at any of the following locations:

The Sutton Building and LeRoy Collins Library in Leon County

Gulf Coast State College and the Wewahitchka Branch Library in Gulf County

The Blountstown Public Library in Calhoun County

The Bay County Public Library and John B. Gore Park in Bay County

The Jackson University Extension Office in Jackson County.
