ENTERPRISE, Ala (WTVY) -- The City of Enterprise will give the public a chance to hear about the future of the city's recycling program.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25th, at the Enterprise Farmer's Market at 5:30pm.
The meeting is meant to address concerns including possible contamination in recyclables, preventing them from being properly recycled and weighing the costs of the program.
The city spends nearly a $500,000 a year in operation costs for the program, with an additional $18,000 in processing fees.
The recycling program has been in the City of Progress since 2009.
