Dothan (WTVY)-- Bad weather caused minor wind damage and flash flooding early Sunday, as relentless storms pelted the area.
The Houston County Emergency Management Agency confirms Wicksburg High School suffered minor damage and a car flipped in west Dothan from high winds. There are also reports of downed trees and power lines in Columbia and several electrical outages also occurred, including some in Dothan. No injuries are known.
The National Weather Service issues a tornado warning about 4 a.m. For Houston County. It expired at 4:30.
Flash flooding, especially on roads that drain poorly, is occurring. In Bonifay, a flooded highway contributed to a minor traffic accident involving a police car.
Rain is forecast to continue throughout the day, potentially causing additional flooding.
