Drug bust leads to trafficking arrest in Abbeville

Abbeville, Ala. (WTVY) -- An Abbeville man is behind bars--- after a drug bust.

Friday morning, the Henry County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, along with the Henry County Swat Team, executed a drug search warrant in an Abbeville apartment on Ozark Road.

There, Tyrell Hall was arrested for drug trafficking as well as possession charges.

Drugs and money were seized in the bust.

Sheriff Will Maddox stated that the search warrant was the result of an extended investigation.

His department says they will continue to work to keep these dangerous drugs off the streets of Henry County.
