Dothan city leaders name new Leisure Services Director

Dothan Leisure Services has a new leader.

Alison Hall was appointed Director of the office Tuesday morning.

She brings more than 20 years of experience to the role.

Right now, she works for Parks and Recreation in the city of Auburn.

City leaders searched far and wide looking for the right person to fill the position.

Hall said she’s pleased to the one they selected.

“Dothan is known for quality leisure services department throughout the state, and it would be an exciting opportunity for me to work with the staff and all of their amazing facilities,” Hall said.

“And I just couldn't say no to it. It's coming home. My family's here and so I'm excited to be back in the community,” said Hall.

Hall will earn a yearly salary of $101,500.

She will begin her new role as Director of Leisure Services on April 13th.
