The reason -they both have professional certifications.

Kavarian Outlaw completed the graphic arts pathway and an internship with Signs Etc. He holds three industry certifications. Those are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. He accepted a visual arts scholarship from Wallace Community College and will continue his graphic arts studies there.

Shaun Spencer completed the health science pathway and an internship with an orthodontist. He accepted a job at Flower's Hospital as a patient care tech, starting next month.

Spencer was one of the students who passed the PCT exam and he says it is one of his greatest accomplishments.

"I had other certifications but this certification I deem as the highest one for right now at this point. Not even graduating and already be certified as a patient care tech, that's amazing," Spencer says.

Outlaw and Spencer graduate from Northview High School on Tuesday.
