Dothan Prep students, parents pray for successful first year
Some students got the chance to check out their new classrooms and have a moment to pray over the start of their school year.
The new Dothan Preparatory Academy hosted a prayer walk, allowing students to explore their new classrooms and pray for a successful year of school.
School officials met and prayed with students that attended. They were then free to walk around and pray anywhere else they wanted.
“I came out here to pray over the building and pray that we have a good school year because I want to meet new people and meet my teachers and I just want it to be the best year of my life," said incoming seventh grader Ava Lambert.
Classes for those students will begin tomorrow, August 20th. This will be the first class for Dothan Preparatory Academy.
